I have created an advertising campaign for the non-profit organisation Models of Diversity. The campaign will reach across several platforms such as adshels, billboards, bus adverts, social media and interactive ambient and guerilla advertising.
The main message and concept for this brief is ” Everyone is beautiful because they are themselves.”
This means that everyone has a quality that is beautiful about them. Finding a way to express that quality is my goal.
I decided to promote Models of Diversity because I believe in their goal which is to promote the use of models which represent the overall majority of the public.
Where are the models of colour? The larger models? The shorter models? The models with a disability? The older models?
Models of Diversity is the campaign for more diversity in the models we see every day. They call on the fashion, beauty and marketing industries to recognise the beauty in people of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. Their mission is to change the face of fashion and modelling.
My goal is to promote a campaign that reaches out to the public, particularly women who will if the chance be willing to work hard to be a professional model regardless of age, race, ability, and size.
I will create a campaign that works across a broad range of different media to ensure the message goes out to as many people as possible.
